More About the Park
This park allows visitors to take in great views of the Mississippi River, located at 4465 66th Street E. Walk out onto the pier and stand above the mighty Mississippi (the pier spans 680 feet over the river) or walk up to check out the incredible views from the scenic overlook.
This park houses unique historical items including an arch, railroad tracks, monuments, and a large gear that came from the bridge. Color-changing LED lights were installed on the bridge in spring of 2025; see below for details.
A trailhead facility is located at this park that connects to the Mississippi River Regional Trail. The Trailhead facility includes bike fix-it stations, restrooms, water, and benches.
Park hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Park Shelter Rental
You can rent the beautiful picnic shelter area right on the banks of the Mississippi for your next family gathering, business picnic, or party. Learn more about renting the shelter..
Lights
The bridge is now home to color-changing LED lights! Enjoy daily light shows; see below for schedule. A 5-minute dynamic show plays every 15 minutes, with glowing static colors in between.
Light Show Schedule:
- Fall/winter (starting Labor Day): 5-10 p.m.
- Spring/summer (starting Memorial Day): 7-10 p.m.
