Important Aquatic Center Safety Guidelines

To assist in ensuring a safe environment is maintained in all of our pools, we have updated our safety policy in the Aquatic Center for 2020. We will be implementing a new three-color wristband procedure. Wristbands identify swimmers capability, age, and supervision requirements to ensure all children are adequately supervised and accompanied. Swim tests may be required. We appreciate your cooperation and support.

  • Children 11 years of age and younger will be given an identifying wristband upon entry to the Grove Aquatic Center. 
  • Yellow wristband swimmers 42 inches or taller may use the water slides.

US Coast Guard-approved floatation devices are allowed in pool area. We have a few available to borrow. All users of life jackets must be within an arm’s reach of an adult.

Lifeguard on Duty

Open Swim in our indoor Water Park

are the hours when our Water Park is open to the public.  Water features and slides may be available. 

Open Swim Fees:

  • VMCC Members: Free
  • Infants (up to 12 months): Free
  • Youth (Ages 1-11), Senior (Ages 60+), Veterans: $6
  • Single (Ages 12-59): $9

Waterpark Slides & Features

This time denotes the full waterpark area is available for play, water features (including dumping bucket) and slides are open!

Waterpark Features Only

This time means that our waterpark play area with features and dumping bucket are available for open swim. Our catch pool and slide area are closed at this time for programming.

Sensory Friendly

This time is designed for toddlers and those seeking a sensory-friendly waterpark experience. Dumping Bucket, water features, and slides are unavailable during this time.

All pools includes Dive, Lap, and Waterpark (slides on features on). Lap Pool has dedicated space (separate from Lap Swim lanes) for recreational swim. includes access to two 1-meter and one 3-meter diving boards.

Lap Swim in Lap Pool

is continuous swimming and circle swim of 2(+) per lane is encouraged.  

The lap pool is an 8-lane, 25-yard pool.

*Ages 12-17 may participate WITH supervision of an adult age 18+.
