Pool Project 2022

To our valued members and guests,

The IGH City Council approved funding for the replacement of a failing pool filtration system for our lap pool, dive well, water park and hot tub at the VMCC. Knowing how popular our Aquatic Center is, staff set out to develop a plan that would minimize the impact of pool closures and keep our facilities available to the community as often as possible during this project.

Find the impacts and FAQs for each pool below.

We realize that this maintenance work will inconvenience our members and participants, but we also know that this financial investment is unavoidable if we hope to keep our pools safe and operable for years to come. We ask for your patience during this project, and we remain committed to providing safe, fun, reliable and affordable programs and facilities for you and your family to enjoy.

Thank you,

Adam Lares, Parks & Recreation Director
