Parks Update: Many Park Amenities to Reopen May 18, with Safety Measures in Place
Over the past two months, IGH residents have been respecting social distancing guidelines on our trails and in our green spaces, and we truly appreciate your patience, diligence and support. Keep up the good work!
Governor Tim Walz has announced that Minnesota’s Stay at Home order will expire on May 18 and be replaced by #StaySafeMN, which allows for more businesses and spaces to be open to the public with safety plans in place. Following state guidance, we are pleased to announce that on May 18 we will begin to reopen some of our park amenities with social distancing and other rules in place. We ask that all park visitors take personal responsibility to keep themselves and others safe. Please use our parks, open spaces and trails at your own risk and in accordance with recommendations provided by the Centers for Disease Control (www.cdc.gov), including the use of hand sanitizer and face coverings. Portable bathrooms will be open for use.
