We are happy you have chosen the Aquatic Center at the VMCC to enhance your family‘s water safety knowledge and swimming abilities! We are excited to be able to offer youth programming that encourages play and teaches lifesaving skills. Our swim lesson program is designed for year-round participation. Swimmers are encouraged to continue swimming in order to build upon their current skills while being introduced to new skills.

Swim Lesson Levels and Swim Level Assessments

Choosing the appropriate swim lesson level is best left to the professionals! However, at this time we are unable to offer swim level assessments, please use your best judgement when enrolling your swimmer. 

• We recommend if you are new to the pool OR have been away from lessons/swimming for more than three months please enroll in level 1 for your child’s age. 

Remember It is always easier to move a swimmer up a level. If it is determined by your swimmer’s instructor/lesson manager that they are in the incorrect level you may be asked to transfer.
