Earth Day Workshops

Learn how to make a difference this Earth Day by joining our free in-person and virtual workshops throughout the month of April:

Declutter Sustainably

Ready for a clutter-free home that helps clear your mind? Professional organizer Sonja Hauter, owner of Hauter Home Organizing, will share easy tips to organize your space, reduce clutter and donate or dispose of unneeded items. All attendees will be entered into a raffle for a free 2-hour home organizing service provided by Hauter Home Organizing (www.hhomeorganizing.life). Must live in Dakota County to be eligible for raffle prize.

  • Thu, April 14: 6 p.m.-7 p.m. | City Hall, Council Chambers or Virtual Option*
  • Wed, April 20: 10:45 a.m.–11:15 a.m. | Healthy Living Fair, VMCC

Home Energy Savings

Learn how to save on your energy bill. Center for Energy and Environment representatives will cover energy savings options ranging from easy no-cost strategies to financing larger home improvements. All attendees will be entered into a raffle for a free Home Energy Squad visit and are eligible for a $30 visit discount. Visit www.xcelenergy.com/HomeEnergySquad for more information on Home Energy Squad services. Must be an Xcel Energy and/or Centerpoint residential customer to be eligible for raffle prize.
