Construction Update
This Week: (07/28-08/02)
The road crew work on the roadway subgrade on the south half of Barbara Avenue, and Bacon Avenue.
Next Week (08/04-08/09):
Curb and asphalt removals are scheduled along the north half of Barbara Avenue, north half of Bacon Avenue, and Upper 45th Street (the remainder of the Phase 2 area). Utility crews will begin sanitary sewer installation, starting at the intersection of 46th Street and Bacon Avenue. From there, they will work north to Upper 45th Street, then east along Upper 45th Street, and finally south on Barbara Avenue.
Roadway subgrade work will continue on the south half of Barbara Avenue, south half of Bacon Avenue, and Bacon Court.
As is typical with utility work, temporary road closures should be expected. Residents are encouraged to watch for contractor notices and plan to park outside the active construction zone if they need to leave during the workday. Access will be restored at the end of each day.
