Outdoor Pickleball Courts Grand Opening Event Sept. 17; 5:30-7 p.m.
The City of Inver Grove Heights Parks & Recreation Department will be opening the City’s first set of outdoor Pickleball courts, located at North Valley Park, 2800 70th Street East. Residents and visitors are invited to attend the grand opening and bring their family and friends to officially open the new courts and learn and play this fastest growing sport in the nation.
When: Tuesday, Sept. 17
Time: 5:30-7 p.m. A formal ribbon ceremony will begin at 5:45 p.m.
Where: North Valley Park, Inver Grove Heights, MN 55077
Grand Opening Activities
The event will have several additional activities available for attendees, including:
- Ribbon Cutting program at 5:45 p.m.
- Free pickles by Hometown Meats (while supplies last)
- Beverages and cookies will also be provided
- Newcomers can learn the game from local experts (equipment will be provided)
- Open play for players of all levels
